Next you will change into expedition gear and get ready to meet the friendly Fjellborg Alaskan huskies. In the afternoon we set out on our excursion, dog sledding through the wintry landscape towards the Väkkärä Lodge where we will stop for an overnight break in cosy log cabins. Today’s destination is the Sevuvouma Homestead, a comfortable wilderness retreat with the atmosphere of a traditional Lapland home. The beautiful setting at the foot of the Vittangivaara fell creates a “last outpost” experience. During your stay at Sevuvouma you will be able to relax in the best sauna in Lapland and enjoy gourmet meals, featuring the finest Lapland flavours.

On clear nights the northern lights provide spectacular evening entertainment.
