In addition to our Homestead in Poikkijärvi, we own two private wilderness lodges in Swedish Lapland which we have designed and built with our own hands. Each lodge has a unique setting and atmosphere and allows our guests to experience the genuine Lapland lifestyle. After a big day of outdoor activities, you can relax in the sauna or enjoy drinks in front of the fireplace before dinner is served by your Chef. The peace you’ll enjoy at our lodges is second to none.
FJELLBORG HOMESTEAD & KENNEL
The Fjellborg Homestead & Kennel in Poikkijärvi, where most of our trips begin and end, is easily reached from Kiruna Airport. The Homestead enjoys an ideal setting by the magnificent Torne River, which is a musher’s highway in winter, and is located just a short walk away from the world famous ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi. At the Homestead you will stay in comfortable and private accommodation and have the opportunity to get to know our friendly huskies and learn about the different aspects of running a sled dog kennel.
VÄKKÄRÄ LODGE
The comfortable Väkkärä Lodge is beautifully situated on the shore of Lake Väkkärä. This peaceful hideaway offers high-standard facilities in the midst of the silent wilderness.
